Does your youth Team need a grant?

The Spring 2012 Liberty Mutual Responsible Sports Community Grant program http://www.responsiblesports.com/community_grants/default.aspx?utm_source=asa&utm_medium=a&utm_campaign=cta is open now through May 31, 2012. Fifteen (15) youth sports organizations will earn a $2,500 grant each for demonstrating their commitment to Responsible Sports. ASA Softball Teams have won this money in the past http://www.responsiblesports.com/community_grants/community_grant_hall_of_fame.aspx?utm_source=asa&utm_medium=a&utm_campaign=cta including the Cherokee Pride '01 Fast Pitch Softball Association from Woodstock, Ga., in Fall 2011, and you can be next. Let's add another one to the Hall of Fame this spring!

How do you win? Supporters take a quizzes http://www.responsiblesports.com/community_grants/default.aspx?utm_source=asa&utm_medium=a&utm_campaign=cta, credit your ASA Softball league/team and watch the leaderboard http://www.responsiblesports.com/community_grants/default.aspx?utm_source=asa&utm_medium=a&utm_campaign=cta. The organizations with the most points at the end (May 31, 2012) win. There are three divisions-small organizations, large organizations and school teams-so your ASA league/team is competing against similar youth sports organizations.

The $2,500 can be used for a number of things including equipment, travel and uniforms. There's no doubt, leagues/teams can really benefit from the Liberty Mutual Responsible Sports Community Grant http://www.responsiblesports.com/community_grants/default.aspx?utm_source=asa&utm_medium=a&utm_campaign=cta.
